Felino Chardonnay from Viña Cobos

Delicioso! This is a great wine from Paul Hobbs's Mendoza-based winery Viña Cobos. Chardonnay is becoming a more popular varietal to produce in Argentina, and almost a requirement for this winemaker whose first winery is in California. The characteristics are typical of a California-style chardonnay that has spent some time in oak, and is extremely well-balanced and refreshing.

Chalk it up to inflation or to Viña Cobos raising their prices in light of how delicious this is or Argonaut realizing few other companies carry it, but the price is now $18.00 per bottle of delicious chardonay.
Still worth it, but it's just become something I drink less frequently.
