| Andeluna | 2006, Torrontes |
While I have great memories of visiting Andeluna and drinking their delicious wines, I was disappointed with their 2006 Torrontés. |

| Bodega Lurton aka Land of Fire aka Tierra del Fuego | 2008, Torrontés-Chardonnay |
Bodega Lurton has continued to surprise me with its tasty value wines less than half the price of most wines I enjoy drinking. |

| Trazos de Autor from Anphora Wines | 2007, Sauvignon Blanc |
The 2007 Sauvignon Blanc from Trazos del Autor was a fresh, light and citric, providing a great summer night sipper. |

I had been awaiting the chance to drink this wine and ordered it in a shipment of boutique wines from Argentina. |

| Séptima | 2005, Malbec |
This mid-priced wine was a pleasant surprise and a great example of the typical Argentine varietal Malbec. |

| Jose L. Mounier | 2008, Argentina, Cafayate, Torrontes |
One of my all-time favorite Torrontés, Mounier is the perfect wine to enjoy on a hot summer day. With rich aromas balanced by a dry smooth finish, it would be tough to find a more refreshing wine. |

| O. Fournier | 2003, Argentina, Blend, Uco Valley |
One of my all-time favorite wines, O. Fournier's B. Crux doesn't disappoint. The wine is a blend, 60% Tempranillo, 20% Malbec, and 10% Merlot and Syrah. |

| Bodega Merced del Estero | 2008, Argentina, San Juan, Torrontes |
I only wish Mil Vientos was more easily accessible in Denver. The wine is delicious: refreshing, light, aromatic, dry, with great balanced flavors. |

| Bodega Lurton aka Land of Fire aka Tierra del Fuego | 2007, Torrontes |
For its price, Bodega Lurton's Torrontés is a good value wine. Although sweeter than a typical Torrontés, it still provides the aroma and is refreshing character typical of the varietal. |

| Prodigo | 2004, Malbec |
I love Prodigo's label, and have been meaning to try their Malbec for quite some time. Sadly, for its price, the 2004 Prodigo Malbec is disappointing and uninspiring. |

| Concha y Toro | 2007, Chile, economical, large production, Merlot |
While Concha y Toro's line Casillero del Diablo has been a hot seller for value wines, this 2007 Reserve Merlot was nothing special: unbalanced and ultimately forgettable. |

| Roots: 1 | 2007, Cabernet Sauvignon |
This wine seems to excel more in marketing than winemaking. The sleek bottle has a design of a growing grapevine emphasizing its root system. |

| O. Fournier | 2003, Malbec, Merlot, Tempranillo |
For price to quality, the Beta Crux is an exceptional wine with its dark fruit flavors, vanilla flavors and aroma and softness in the mouth. |

I heard about mapema winery in Mendoza from some fellow wine-lovers who had been wanting to try it. |

| O. Fournier | 2005, Malbec-Tempranillo |
Wines from O. Fournier rarely disappoint, and their economical Urban line certainly has some quality wines to offer while their higher end Crux blends are some of my special occasion favorites. |
